I fear I'm becoming the person I said I'd never be.

Sometimes we find we are just like the person we vowed we would not be like but don't dispair. When you are older, you find you actually like who "they" were and are and don't mind being just like them. It is only through the eyes of youth it looks bad.
This is not the case if you are looking at someone who is abusive. In that case, please know that you can change and there is help to keep you strong.
