I fear never amounting to anything in my life.

I fear this too. I just hope that if I am a good friend to all the people in my life I can make a difference to them and be remembered and missed when I go. Then I will know I still did something good with my life.
Amount to anything, to who? It doesn't matter what other people think of you. Do what matters to you and you'll be happy. Don't judge yourself too harshly by society's standards.

I also have this fear. It eats me up inside. Hopefully I'll find a way to make something out of my life before it's too late.
